実際、英語が通じるとこって空港、大きな駅のinformation とかホテルのカウンターくらいですもんね。コンビニやタクシー、トゥクトゥクなんかはほとんどがタイ語だったしな。マレーシアはマレー語と英語両方使うみたい。電車の中で他人の会話聞いてると英語かおおい。ただnew sentral がnusentralと発音するとはしばらく気づかなかったけどね。

海外旅行くらいなら英語しゃべれなくてもオッケーですね。英語喋れるようになったら海外行ってみよう、もうちょっと英語のレベルが上がったらとか準備に時間かけるより、とにかく行ってしまうのがいいかと思います。そこで実際に英語を使ってみるとおもしろいと思うよ。地球の歩き方に載ってる現地の言葉集があれば十分なんだと思う。ビジネスしようと思ったら英語を流暢に喋れないとだめだと思うけど。とにかく行動しちゃう。
